**Calculation:**

Let the present age of the father is A,

the present age of the elder son is B and

the present age of the younger son is C.

The present age of the father is twice that of the elder son.

⇒ A = 2B

10 years later the age of the father will be three times that of the younger son.

⇒ (A + 10) = 3(C + 10)

⇒ A = 3C + 20

The difference between the ages of the two sons is 15 years.

⇒ B – C = 15 ⇒ B = C + 15

By solving the above three equations, we get

A = 50, B = 25, and C = 10

**The age of father = A = 50 years**
