SUCCESSFUL OPEN DAY AT THE WALKMILL
We are delighted to report that over 50 visitors attended our ‘Open Afternoon’ held on Saturday 5th March. Visitors enjoyed a tour of our holiday cottages followed by complimentary home-baked cakes, all made with free range eggs from ‘The Walkmill’ hens.
Gilly Bachelor said ‘visitor feedback was extremely complimentary with very positive comments about our stunning rural setting and luxury cottages. Visitors were particularly impressed by how cosy and welcoming the cottages were, and loved the traditional features such as the open fires and roll top baths.  Everyone said they would be pleased to recommend our cottages to their friends and family’. Â
All proceeds from the raffle were donated to the fund for the building of a new village hall in Norbury. 1st prize went to Barry Preston, 2nd to Margaret Cooke, 3rd to Brenda Jones and 4th to Jackie Horridge.
