Dogs are welcome at The Walkmill
Many people want to bring their dog on holiday and at The Walkmill we are determined to make Man’s Best Friend very welcome. At The Walkmill, for the fee of £5 per day, we will provide you and your dog with:
- A ‘doggie’ welcome pack including dog treat and toy;
- A fully-secured Orchard where they can roam free (they must be kept on leads outside of this area when on our site);
- Facilities to wash your dog with fresh towels;
- Water and food bowls;
- Scooper, disposal bags and designated bins;
- On request we can pre-order food for your dog (and provide emergency supplies from our own stocks!);
- Spare leads;
- Bedding (with prior notice).
In your cottage you will also find information on:
- The local vet, pet shop and food suppliers;
- Suggested walks;
- Pubs that will (or won’t accept) dogs;
- Local transport networks, contact details and their pet acceptance policy;
- Details of local pet sitting and walking services.
For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests we have strict Dog Policies. Please familiarise yourself with these policies prior to booking.
